I’m not leavin’ until I have to!

I’ll throw in a few that I enjoyed (all pc with a controller):

Hollow knight (probably the common favorite). Fun gameplay, interesting story, felt like a great entry into the genre as someone who didn’t like them previously.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Really interesting farming mechanics to unlock new skills and fun combat. I think I liked this one mostly for the gameplay and don’t remember the story much.

Grime. This one felt really, really clunky at first. However, like most games in the genre, it really picked up at one point and I enjoyed the whole experience. I think there were some sections that really dragged on but overall a fun game with interesting movement, mechanics, and enemies.

Depending on who you ask, millennial ends around 1996. Annoying orange came around in 2009, when that portion of the ‘generation’ would be 13 years old.

This is definitely a common phrase with AAVE, thus, asking the question, “do people really talk like this”, would imply that the asker is considering the poster to be inferior in some way. The racist piece being that it’s pinpointing a dialect spoken, typically, by a specific race and calling it dumb.

I was sort of being sarcastic but lemmy users are a special sort and definitely can’t read that.

Did it ever hold true?

I was expecting a lot of knee-jerk reaction changes but these seem really fair. The dodge roll change is especially nice since the game makes it so hard to fight out of a corner with certain builds.

Interesting experiment but who the fuck doesn’t just eat the whole chip at once?

Why does Lemmy and reddit love trains so much? They could solve some travel problems in some but are we expecting tracks to run literally everywhere and into every suburb? What about rural places?

The subway making the decision to remove the benches is a failure of society. The homeless being homeless isn’t the subway’s fault or responsibility, but keeping the subway clean and safeis.

The point I’m trying to make is, complaining that the subway is trying to solve their immediate problem instead of solving major societal issues is not going to resolve anything.

Is it the subway’s job to house the homeless?

An accent isn’t exactly a perfect indicator for race.

Most people worldwide are lactose intolerant and the large majority of non-white people are lactose intolerant.

It would almost be more fair to call it lactose tolerance but English is understandably pretty eurocentric.

Where are you from that just speaking would be enough to know your race? Similarly, what are you playing where this occurs? Just curiosity since I’ve never experienced this (from either side).
