It has been 25 years, countries are much more integrated now than they were back then when the first notes were designed. So it should not be as problematic as it would have been back then. Plus the coins continue to have the national symbols.

Nothing against you personally. It is just a bit annoying when people from EU countries who refuse to join the Euro then complain about their currencies/financial market getting treated differently than the Euro zone.
The only reason why eurozone and EU are not the same (bar the countries with exceptions) is that multiple countries still fail to adhere to the criteria needed to join the euro - and some, like Poland, fail on purpose.

I mean, the state can fine them, they just can’t execute that if the owner company of 4chan truly has no assets in the UK.
The difference is that the UK is not blocking sites. Sites are blocking the UK.
They serve users in the UK, therefore they can be fined. There is an established way to not get fined by governments of states whose markets you operate in: get out of that market. Block traffic from the UK. It is not the country’s obligation to block, it is the company’s. This has been already played out over the years in courts.

You can interact with piefed communities using your lemmy account, but that wont give you any of the features that piefed has.
In order to do that you need to create a completely new and separate piefed account to your lemmy account. You can sign up at a piefed instance/server like piefed.social or piefed.zip, or you could selfhost like in the guide you found.
