Worst part about Lemmy being a tech heavy space is that so many users spout shit like “They’re not banning it, just deplatforming it” like yes, dipshit, that’s effectively a ban for something like 99% of people. Having visited in 2019, it was incredibly clean. They charged just a standard transient occupancy tax of I wanna say a few euros a day. For the life of me I do not understand those “windows support volunteers” on the Microsoft help forums.

Like you say they always rush to answer the wrong thing. The “most helpful” answer is usually posted by one of them and it’s just wrong. Yesterday I had to scroll through 4 pages to find the (incredibly simple) answer to a problem I was having with Word and all the volunteer responses were utterly useless and just rehashing what the OP said in their post.

Always a hoot when you click through Windows 11 settings and get taken to menus from 8, 7, I think there’s still a few vista menus hidden in there.

Depends on the job field. I was combat arms, and I’d say it was around 50-60%

From my limited experience with non combat arms people, it seemed lower among them.
