Lived near a few air bases. Have heard the boom of an SR71 going low and fast. But, the loudest I’ve ever heard was a meteorite or space junk breaking the sound barrier overhead. And that includes the shuttle which had a great sound as it passed over on landing.

Had a chance once to stand about 100m from a B1 Lancer while it performed a full afterburner combat takeoff.

Just absolutely incredible… It’s so ungodly loud that your ears basically have no purpose and it’s like you are hearing through your whole body.

Point being, peo0le couldn’t have heard the explosion in space, but they could certainly hear the missle parts falling at speed through the atmosphere

Israel, famously known for the precision application of their weapons, does it again! Lets goooo!
Perhaps a sign of good things to come!

Edit: Guys, come on. All that’s in the past. The future is today!

If they can shoot a thin object in space on a ballistic trajectory, why can’t they hit a single Hamas terrorist stationary on the ground without using less than 10 cruise missiles that instead wipe out the house and family of tv journalist that lives 10km away?

Yeah. It will make it easier for them to target schools, hospitals, refugee camps and other locations that are supposed to be illegal to attack under the Geneva convention.
