This is why I fuckin’ hate paying taxes… not because it’s too expensive or people need to help themselves. It’s because I can’t control what portion of society my money goes to help.
The biggest gang in the country is always the government. Even mobsters know you’re playing with fire when you don’t give Uncle Sam his cut.
Mobsters actually took care of their neighbourhoods, opened up hospitals and gave money to poor peoople… not that what they did to get that money is OK, but it’s not as bad as what’s happening now.
I’m glad that people are finally opening up their eyes and actually reading about alternative social orders and that the socialist concepts are actually pretty good, designed for the government to take care of the working class and the people in general. Democracy is a good concept, but it gets corrupt after a certain period of time, people learn how to play the system. I think a drastic change needs to happen every 50 years or so, so that people can experience other social orders, take what’s good from them and make an ever better one afterwards.
