9·9 months agoI’m in. I attempted this on my own a year or two ago and did not make it all the way through. It will be nice to have folks to discuss with.

18·1 year agoI’ve been wondering about this. It seems like one of the best ways to work against this administration is to get them to fight amongst themselves.
I don’t know the best way to do this, but we could learn from them. Going into online spaces and sowing division works great against the liberals and leftists alike, so why not the right? Also, we already know they are open to conspiracy theories.
I obviously have not thought through this much, but hopefully better minds than mine can run with this idea.
Manosphere is (to my understanding) Andrew Tate, Joe Rogan, etc. Basically content that promotes men acting like Neanderthals. Why any percentage of women found that attractive is beyond my comprehension.

News@lemmy.world•Trump confirms plan to declare national emergency, use military for mass deportations
8·2 years agoAbsolutely. My comment was just a quip/ meme, but I do worry that what you laid out is their goal.
They have indicated in Project 2025 that they plan to rollback various safety nets. Unfortunately, the US is already lacking in that.

Absolutely. The only time I see an issue with this is when someone only spams “America bad”. Yes, the government is bad, but that ignores a lot of the nuance of the situation. Similarly, people who only want to talk about how China, Russia, other colonizing power, etc is bad and refuse to understand that it isn’t the people of those places as a whole.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If you are a Libertarian and hold liberty as your core value, why do you not believe in universal healthcare? Nothing impacts liberty more than sickness and death.
124·2 years agoThat’s not fair. They also really care about getting rid of age of consent laws!

Anarchy is explicitly against “profits”.
