My phone is close to 5 years old. I’m honestly quite happy with it still.

“I feel like if it ends here I’ll be satisfied with the story” but there are ten more episodes…yeah i still do that.

The one at my local highshool sends a chill down my spine. She’s super nice to the kids though so whatever I guess lol.

I absolutely am. If I didn’t like my job I wouldn’t tolerate it.

I have a ton of days off I could technically take but I just save them for disasters and no one questions it when I can’t come in.

I work in behavioral health, and most of my kiddos have a diagnosis. There are a handful of junk studies around this topic that have the same group of people with conflicting financial interests, have shit methodologies, or confounds (such as other therapies) etc.

Can confirm, as an idiot. IT hates me. But it’s mainly my kids using my Lenovo as a frisbee.

Yeah I think you’re right. If I didn’t have the responsibilities I do, renting a smaller place until expiring would probably be my route.

I admit it. I couldn’t never pay the rent on my own. When I was younger I essentially stayed with whoever picked me. My marriage went on way too long because I needed to finish college/fieldwork or be stuck with a man who hated me and had someone ten years younger he’d gotten pregnant at college…funny that none of us could actually afford to leave each other until I graduated and got out of their way. Because of environment and poor decisions, I put myself and the kids through unforgivable stress. I’m in my thirties now, the kids are almost grown, and I make great money. But I’m an empty person. I’ll give them what I never had though, so they won’t be in relationships to pay their bills. I’m pretty sure one will be an engineer.

It’s more a reaction to the policies that make relationships and pregnancy dangerous. Why settle down when you could be one of the 1/5 natural miscarriages and potentially go into septic shock or blow a fallopian tube?

I’ve decided I’m gonna have one crapbox prebuilt just for the windows things and nothing important or personal, but my work laptop and pc will most certainly not be windows going forward. I have a lot to learn but I’m over it with the ads and the privacy stuff is a genuine concern for work related items.
