  • Can’t go wrong with an affordable headset with solid resolution :) and agreed, Alyx was an absolute banger!

Might have to try that home theater offering 🎭

Lots of multiplayer VR FPS’s too, pretty fun! Forefront’s been my Battlefield fix, way more fun than BF6 wound up being at a lower price, and I do love VR tank-time lol

TBH though, the best VR experiences I’ve had have been survival crafting games :) loads of fun and super immersive, especially as you build up your base and get to actually be inside of it, then run out for some fighting and looting lol but it really shines in multiplayer, and for whatever godforsaken reason all the devs that do wind up making survival crafting VR games leave ‘em as single-player :/ at the moment best multiplayer survival crafting games for VR are mods for Valheim and 7 Days To Die - wish we could get some similar experiences that are actually built for VR! Feels like that’s been a drought since The Forest did their VR mode

  • Thanks ☺️ I got “lucky” getting lymphoma lol it’s aggressive but thankfully effectively treatable! We caught it when it was stage 3 progressing to stage 4, and after 6 “memorable” rounds of chemo I’m 5 years out and tentatively in the clear! Helps I got it when was 27, so I was a bit more durable lmao

Tenderness ain’t a bad thing at all! Hopefully put your mind at ease a little while you wait for your appt lol

  • I hope it gets better for you, seems like you’ve been through some incredibly rough turns this year!

I often think of the old saying “may you live in interesting times” and wish it’d be boring again; we’re all in for some more chaos I’m afraid. But what doesn’t kill you makes you tougher, stronger, harder. Hold tight, focus on pulling through day by day and hopefully that helps it feel less overwhelming. Sometimes looking at too much of the big picture can be paralyzing!

  • How’s the lymph-node feel? Sore, or no pain? I had lymphoma back in 2020, my lymph-nodes at the time weren’t sore (didn’t hurt at all, even when touching them) and were hard as rock due to the tumors. If yours are sore and not rock hard that may actually not be the worst thing, but you most definitely need to see that doctor in 9 days!

  • This! And the fcking idiots who used their votes to throw a temper tantrum about Harris/Walz’s stance on Gaza are in a high likelihood of having violence enacted against them in the states or flat-out getting deported. Like they were always high on the target list, do they not remember Trump’s muslim ban? Again, stupid fking idiots who slit their own throats in protest so they could get the shoes of the people they’re angry at messy. What they’ve done is ineffective, beyond short-sighted, and self-harming. Guess we get to see if Israel decides to rip down Al-Aqsa, replace it with a Third Temple now. Wouldn’t put it past them.

  • Maybe it’s time you made your own project (if you’re up to it) :) time to serve that quality bisque in a bowl deserving of it lol besides, things will never change if we stay the route with Jack Welch-esque CEOs running the show; we need more indie devs, more small businesses, people who want to make something great because they’re passionate, or even just folks who want a sustainable future without strangling ourselves with the noose of “line must go up” mentality.

But also that’s a metric ton of work, and owning a project like that is certainly a risk to take!
