Guess I’m in today’s lucky 10000

Glances at pawb.social

Lasts up to a week… I’d be hesitant to commit to a trip that long myself. Imagine if you had a bad one.
Took me way too long to figure out that was the butt, not the beak.

Personal anecdote, having issues with mine, and the warranty claim is estimated to take a month just to get approved and the part in. Oh it’s your only vehicle? Damn, sucks to be you.
On the other hand, you have major European instances (feddit.org) geoblocking a quarter of the world (Asia) and degrading the fediverse experience for any users there.

BYD support so far has not impressed me favourably. Had an issue with my new car, took it to the workshop, they took apart some stuff and agreed that a part was faulty. However they need to submit a request to HQ for approval, which will take 2 weeks. And THEN they’ll order the part, which will take ANOTHER 2 weeks. 1 month, just for a simple issue. It’s a good thing my car is working, if this was a critical issue I’d be carless for a month due to their bureaucracy.
I suspect they’ve grown way too fast for their support infrastructure to keep up with.

If they had made the change for that reason, sure. But the actual stated cause was some pretty thing.

Very cogent take, enjoy the incoming downvotes.

The blog is hilarious.

Then maybe you need to start by telling your instance admins to stop banning anybody they disagree with…
That would be true, except draws exist

Sorry, what am I supposed to be helping with?

It’s .ml, there’s nothing actually leftist there
Windows: If you can’t exit gracefully, I’ll make sure you never exit at all

That’s… A really gray area to be declaring homophobia and a lifetime ban, imo. One of those instances where talking it out and education would probably have been the better response, but it’s not way over the line either.

Or just put a standard accelerometer on a train and recalibrate automatically at each station. Wtf is this quantum mechanic use case

Well, common in certain circles. Definitely cryptic for everybody else, though.
They probably are internally, steam doesn’t want to have to deal with unnecessary missed expectations just because a partner talked about stuff they obviously have no knowledge of.
