What is this good for?
What does that explain about lizard people or eating ass?
Okay, heard of that one before. But even knowing that, I still don’t get what it has to do with CERN, nor eating ass.
I don’t get it :(
Last time this happened to me, more or less, I was trying to find the original source of some commonly (in the field) understood thing. After digging deeper and deeper I came out at Einstein or some similar physicist from the early 19 hundredths. That was wild and unexpected, as it was decades earlier than what I expected. The experiments they did to get us here is amazing.

“far” less, like 1.999 or something.
Yes. But no.

This paints a very different picture. Fewer daily losses than a year ago and no rise.
Ffs that guy is annoying. Did not even do the math, which should have told him that hypersonic does not even scratch the surface unless he has an extremely wide drop-off region.

Fancy pictures, but who would use them at 13 km range in this kind of conflict? That would be suicidal.

Absolutely not? It only sank because of that. Had they compartmentalized all the way, we might have it as a museum floating somewhere. Sure it was built better than things at the time usually were, that does not make it good in absolute numbers. Especially when you look at how much regulations changed because of this. If they were adequate and this a freak accident, there would be no need to change so much.

Drones have carried larger warheads than 155 mm for a while now. Unlike artillery, they usually hit exactly where they should plus often with live feed too.
Also, I never said it is an exclusive thing, no idea why you put that straw man up. They are a counter to that given how mobile, cheap and ubiquitous they are.

Nothing wrong except those key oversights like not actually compartmentalizing the sections but only doing it 80 % of the way such that it will flood no matter what.

Well, drones seem like a valid counter. 24/7 seeing every movement and pinpoint strike capabilities over dozens of km for next to no money.

How this compare to Winamp?
I too should branch out.

So they all(!) do not know better and use more expensive stuff why?

3rd world countries that need cheap energy are to blame instead of one of the richest countries selling stuff because it wants to be richer?

I originally replied to someone, must have ended up in the wrong place.
Interesting, thank you.
