2·10 months agoI run it at normal (medium) quality and generally get a consistent 60 fps. Anything above that and it starts to dip into the 40s.

6·10 months agoFarcry Primal. Saw it was on sale recently, so I decided to snag it. It’s not bad so far and a fun setting to mess around in. Works with my linux setup and steam deck.

Linux@programming.dev•Best distro for me?English
2·10 months agoIf you like the most up to date software but an wasy setup I generally recommend openSUSE Tumbleweed. Its easy to manage, gets the newest software, well supported, and has worked great for boty gaming and hobbiest level programming. Been using it for almost a year eith zero issues.
If you are looking for something more gaming focused and kind of just ready right out of the box, Bazzite is a good call. Its atomic so hard to break, big community so lots of support, and has all the necessary software installed.

4·11 months agoBeen using opensuse as my daily os for about 8 months now and I have gotten pretty used to Yast but I am excited to see what Myrlyn brings to the table. Hopefully it fills most of the gaps and offers a smoother experience.

3·11 months agoPrimarily Titan Fall 2. Been wanting to try it for a bit now and it really exceeds my expectations. Love the movement, shooting, and feel of everything. Only thing I really don’t enjoy is the titan sections but outside of that it kind of rules.

6·11 months agoCurrently playing a bunch of Aliens: The Dark Descent. Solid game if you like the xcom style but real time instead of turn based.

I would recommend Linux Mint. Its really simple to work with and basically plug and play. Comes with a solid software selection and built in tools. I personally really like the cinammon and mate editions. Cinnamon has a bit more modern look to it and MATE is a bit more retro.
