Our current system does not reward that extra hard work. The wealth distribution slow is barely perceptible for the bottom 97% of the population. When ~100 people hold half the country’s wealth, there’s none left for anyone else regardless of how hard you grind.

Exactly like I described. They shotgun doctored resumes at companies, hoping a few stick and they get paid for it. Getting DMs from these doesn’t mean you have job offers. It means someone wants to include you in their barrage-which means they identified you as having a pulse
DMs from who, though? Recruiting agencies? Those aren’t job offers, those are people who want to doctor your resume even further and some it at companies going they’ll get paid for it

Yeah the fact that all of the debt is staying with the merged company is tipping their hands. This is what Venture Capitalist companies do. This is why JoAnn fabrics is going under.
Buy the company, somehow move the debt for the loan to buy the company onto the books of the company being bought. Fail to make up for those loan payments after a few years and then skin it off, only to have it shutter.
