I saw some nice leather sneakers last time I was shoe shopping. They were pretty expensive and I forgot the name of them.

I was thinking along the same lines of you and thought if you coupled it with a tub of Dubbin they would make great winter shoes.

In the end I settled with leather work boots and dubbin plus some nice, breathable runners for exercising.

In my gym I’ve actually seen this scenario play out three times IRL.

I’m a chef and work in a kitchen sponsored by Smeg. There is no way in hell I would ever buy this trash. The designers have never cleaned a thing in their life and it shows in the products, they are a nightmare to keep clean. The small gadgets are also all cheap plastic and the designs also reflect the engineer’s lack of cleaning experience. All the designs of the gadgets also include these little gimmicks that you need to keep track of or the whole thing is rendered useless.

None of the stuff is dishwasher safe either excluding the oven racks and stove trivets so it all needs to be washed by hand.

Fuck Smeg and fuck their engineering/design team.

It’s reasonable and has good charges but I can’t recommend it because it’s based In the US and the only payment option I could use was PayPal and I don’t use PayPal anymore because I don’t support fascism.
