Have you considered complaining about Russia ruining international relations with their neighbors, which has led to this situation? It’s not like those countries have a fundamental hatred of Russia. They would love it if Russia could be a normal ally because it would be immensely beneficial. It’s Russia who can’t be a fucking normal ally. It’s not Lithuania who is building spy networks in Russia or bribing corrupt officials, it’s Russia doing those things to Lithuania. And not just Lithuania, it’s all Baltic states and Poland and Russian money goes even deeper into Europe.

It sucks for Russians that Lithuania has done this but it’s ultimately Russia’s own fault Lithuania had to do this. If there’s anyone you or Russians should blame, it’s Russia. You can’t just push countries around and expect them to not do anything about it.

I get that his name draws views but I don’t think that’s a factor going from S1 to S2. It’s not like he went from nobody to somebody. He was already popular prior to S1, he didn’t get more popular between seasons. His S1 salary probably already accounted for his popularity so it was most likely also accounted in the S2 salary. But, if he thinks he should’ve been paid more because of his name recognition then that’s him pretty much trying to do the same thing he’s blaming the accountants for, he would be trying to squeeze out every penny from his popularity.

I don’t know about the specific of the deal or what S2 will actually contain, but as I understand S1 set up a new Hawkeye so maybe S2 would’ve had Renner not as the main character and possibly not doing the same amount of work. If he is going to do less work it would make sense to also pay less. This of course is speculation as we don’t know actually know what S2 would’ve been about or what deal was presented to Renner. All we know is Renners side where he claims it would’ve been the same amount of work and I don’t think I need to explain how that can’t be taken as the absolute truth. The rest of what he said really makes me question if he’s being completely honest or is he skewing the story to make himself look like the good guy.

It’s not a battle-royale. It’s an extraction shooter which IMO makes the outlook even worse because extraction shooters are probably the most hardcore subgenre of shooters you could have. The game is either going to pivot hard within months after launch or it’s going to flop.

GTA 6 is coming out this year and it started development after RDR2. That’s 6-7 years. Cyberpunk 2077 started main production after Blood and Wine, which means development time was 4-5 years. Baldur’s Gate 3 development most likely started after DoS2, which means it was in development for 6-7 years. In fact most AAA games finish development in less than 7 years and anything going beyond 7 usually has some kind of a development hell (and usually ends up being bad).

Star Citizen has been in development for 12 years. If it released today it will be the third or fourth longest game development time, except it’s not releasing today and considering the state of the game it can easily get the top spot of the longest time in development game. It is nowhere near the standard development time of a modern AAA title. You could say SQ42 is in the modern AAA development time (if you’re being generous with the start date of the development), but even there you’re not getting the full game as the release will be episodic. Who knows how long it will take for all the episodes of SQ42 to release.

OpenMW is literally the recreation of the Gamebryo engine. The goal is to rebuild the engine on modern architecture so you could get the Morrowind experience like it was 20 years ago (with some modern functionality like better draw distance). And you also get the added bonus that some Morrowind mods, like Tamriel Rebuilt are compatible with OpenMW.

You may want a remake but for anyone wanting the OG Morrowind experience OpenMW is probably the best solution.

No. He proceeded to say my argument is based on anecdotal evidence (which I had no problem acknowledging because personal experiences are subjective even if they are personal experiences of an entire group of people) only to turn around and present an even more anecdotal evidence than mine (the experience of a single individual) as something factual, and then double down defending it when called out about it being anecdotal evidence. He will dismiss or deflect any kind of argument he doesn’t agree with and then present his own arguments that are just as fallible to the reasons he uses to dismiss arguments. Javascript is fun. The video takes a few jabs at ruby and then gives a glimpse into the insanity that is Javascript.

The one that came off the top of my head is Kynseed. It’s kinda like a more gamified Stardew valley that loses a bit of that personalized Stardew Valley charm due to the breadth of different systems and minigames. The only obviously bad things to say about the game are that there are both too many different systems in the game (which makes some of them feel kinda shallow) and the game takes too much time getting you through the fundamental systems. But beyond that there’s a lot of lore, the different systems work well together, the minigames are all polished, there’s loads of content - I can’t find a good reason why it’s not a popular game, it just isn’t.

He definitely has had some negative impact on it considering almost every time stop killing games news pops up someone parrots his already debunked points.
