A Booru is an image board. Sort of like a forum, but the focus is on images.
The idea is neat, and like most neat ideas it’s usually used for porn.
Mom said it was my turn for the “I hate systemd” post this week

Seems like a good workaround to me!

tl;dr - Backblaze announced at one point they’ve stopped backing up files associated with sync services like OneDrive. The author discovered they also don’t back up .git folders.
Which, yeah - the second your backup solution starts getting picky with what to backup, it’s time to move on. Shame, I had heard a lot of good things about them.
I might be up there, but who knows. I describe it as a “constant white noise of thought”. Wish it was JRR Tolkien-style fantasy instead of anxiety over “what would I do if X?” and “let’s make up drama to react to”.
Never heard of Maladaptive Daydreaming until now. Glad it’s not just me; I’ve had a hell of a time explaining this sensation over the years.
People who do this tend to “lose themselves” in extremely vivid and detailed daydreams. Research also shows this kind of daydreaming might be compulsive. That means it’s difficult — if not impossible — to control that you’re doing it.

Neat! For a moment I thought it was Dot Matrix off “Reboot”

Anyone want to ELI5 what’s so slick about Cachy?
I likes my Debian. Look at that graph. Steady as rock.

From the article:
Flatpak is NOT a distro, but that’s what Steam reports when it’s running on Flatpak, and Flatpak being distro independent we report it as a separate environment, if that makes sense. Feel free to ignore it if you wish.

Listed programs:
scp - “potentially deprecated”e/fgrep - replaced with grep flagsnet-tools, which includes
netstatarprouteiptunnel
*nameififconfigiwconfigiptables

If I remember right, you can shoot Hitler’s testicle off in Sniper Elite. Sets a new standard for Nazi killin’ games.

Gotta get them clicks

I use Freetar.
Like Invidious, but for Ultimate-Guitar
I rely on one of the instances, but will eventually look into self-hosting it.

I’ve not tried getting Ableton working on Linux, but I’ve done a bit of audio production in Debian & Arch in the past. It’s gotten much better over the years, but it’s often not plug-and-play. Some suggestions from someone haunted by JACK and ALSA:
If you’re stuck on Ableton, you might find some info on getting it to run properly through Wine via the forums on Lutris or PlayOnLinux.

Anyone with some experience in both LibreOffice and Collabora?
Since Collabora is based off LO, I’m curious why users would prefer one over the other. Any killer features missing from either? Is Collabora just a nice coat of paint?

I like it. I’ll never use it - I like the surprise - but it’s a good idea.
Agreed. It is horrendously violent, yet almost cozy? I mean, sure there’s a bunch of demons running amok and jumping out at you, but there’s a great comfort when one’s wielding a chainsaw lubed with the blood of their fallen comrades. Like a big blanket of purring kittens. Cozy.
No moral dilemmas, no romancing, just good ol’ fashioned rip n’ tearing 'til it’s done.
