I knew who the user was before I even opened this. Everytime I see that username in a news or politics sub I’m surprised they haven’t been banned. Don’t know if this was the right place to call them out, but I get your frustration.
Its not exactly a new term, but its become more commonplace since the right wing online content mill started running with it. Actually going to recommend not googling it, because you will be inundated primarily with right wing propaganda. There are a number of good sources who have covered the conspiracy and the online personalities that push it.
I’m not certain this is what happened, but are you aware that “cultural Marxism” specifically is a right wing conspiracy and not synonymous with being a tankie. Because to me a “cultural Marxism” tag on a post like that is almost certainly ironic. I could see someone mistakenly thinking troll since your comment doesn’t make sense to someone familiar with the term.

My hot take is that the dominion war was hot garbage. Just episode after episode of the least fun parts of trek for me. It has some stand out episodes, but it drags and I basically stop rewatches in the late seasons. I also think Sisko’s ending sucks, he should have stayed with Jake. Lastly, the prophets were way better before they introduced Pah-Wraiths and made them way more mystical.
The gender gap in voting narrowed slightly this year, so I feel like this isn’t supported by the available evidence. If you could chalk this up to just misogyny you would expect that gap to have widened rather than narrowed
