Possibly unpopular opinion, but the black deck basically ruins this game. I was obsessed before black deck, and to be sure continued playing for a while afterwards. But the black deck was so miserable that I realized it wasn’t even fun. It made me feel like if I had any self respect I’d call LocalThunk’s bluff and quit playing. But I didn’t. Loss after loss I continued to debase myself and continue grinding, waiting for essentially pure luck to release me and allow me to have fun again. But I never regained my enthusiasm.
Huh? This doesn’t make physical sense. The bullet was traveling at airplane speed when fired, so in theory is going plane speed + bullet speed. Unless I’m misunderstanding things?

I can’t see a way to see what each defcon is/relates to. Like, what are the different defcons and what is the real world example of each?
If human blood has plastics at a rate of ~ 1.6 µg/mL and a typical volume of blood donated during a whole blood donation is approximately 470-500 mL you’re looking at a reduction in plastics of a cool .0005 grams per donation. That’s 1/40th of a grain of rice!

I am no expert, and am completely unqualified to make assertions, but: I feel like Americans possess many of the strengths of a Russia, or France, or England, but without the real pride, real self esteem, or real duty. Which is both a strength and a weakness at times. We have the dare devil bravery of Russia, the obstinacy of France, and the adaptability of England, but no collective unity. No common spirit. It makes us fearsome and unpredictable, but completely rudderless and feckless. We’re a nation of unrealized potential. At the most, it seems more honest to suggest that smoking marijuana with preexisting cardiovascular issues may be uniquely harmful. But even within that narrowly defined community I reckon it would be a tall task to isolate the effects of marijuana as a smoking gun (heh) with so many other potentially contributing factors.

Results Overall, 24 articles were included from 3012 initial records, including 17 cross-sectional studies, 6 cohort studies and 1 case-control study. Exposure corresponded to the use of cannabis in all studies, with one focused on medical cannabis.
At the very least, these numbers include medical cannabis patients which in theory would be prescribed to people with what I would imagine is an above average MACE (major adverse cardiovascular event) risk. Anxiety, eating disorders, depression, whathaveyou.
And to be fair, the study itself only really says that their findings demonstrate enough of a correlation to warrant further research and they make no claim that the link is causation rather than correlation:
Conclusions This systematic review and meta-analysis uses an original approach centred on real-world data. The findings reveal positive associations between cannabis use and MACE. These findings should encourage investigating cannabis use in all patients presenting with serious cardiovascular disorders.

This seems like an extremely difficult connection to make.
My personal, unscientific read on the CHE situation is that it’s mote likely a collection of common responses to anxiety/panic caused by being too high. I have no first hand experience though. But I can tell you that tye advent of things such as the Astropink Alien Brain, coming in at 500mg of thc in a single gummy, supports that we’re in unprecedented times potency and ease of use wise. That’s roughly equivalent to the THC of an entire eighth of flower in one go. I can easily see people biting off more than they can chew, so to speak.
