Godot@programming.dev•I'm adding a random vector function to my plugin. Is range or min/max better?
1·23 天前In that case, I might add an optional boolean toggle for use as a range. But the default should be inclusive to stay consistent with the float method… I think.

Godot@programming.dev•I'm adding a random vector function to my plugin. Is range or min/max better?
1·23 天前I already named the variables minimum and maximum, so inclusive should make more sense. The code generates a vector within a square/cube defined by 2 other vectors.
Those are all good questions, and yes.
- It saves time because I (and future plugin users) don’t have to implement placing a vector in 2/3d space randomly, and it makes the code cleaner.
- Not a lot, and yes.
- The function is pretty much set-and-forget, but I might write an unit test just in case the laws of mathematics change overnight.
How about S-rotation and Z-rotation (imagine ends of letters being arrows)? Been thinking about this recently.
Which one, tho? I’m missing something and I don’t know what 😅
“For the love of God, Montresor!”
It just occured to me that no one thought to copy the link on OP’s behalf… including myself. Whoops.
I don’t see how it works both ways.
No one but you was upset, they just kindly asked for links.
yea, I read that part.
That’s a weird edit. What could have possibly caused it -

Uh… the only enraged person I see is you.
It’s okay, we all have our moments.
But please come back to this post when you’re in a better headspace.
They’ve been nothing but kind to you.
And it won’t be two clicks a month from now.

2·1 个月前It looks interesting, but I’m looking for something with more… world in it. Something to use my logic circuits with (count storage items, simple store, item mail system…)

3·1 个月前Oh yeah, that’s definitely a problem too. And part of the problem is that AI companies seem to be blind to the LLMs’ weaknesses as well.
Evil is uncommon, exceptional, and makes for better headlines and history book material. Good is abundant, mostly unremarkable, and easily forgotten over time.

8·1 个月前Absolutely. I was thinking of getting back into minecraft Redstone but I’d rather do it in a non-Microsoft alternative. Not to mention at least a dozen other projects on my backlog

41·1 个月前Even if it could, it would be an order of magnitude more inefficient in terms of convenience than the stopwatch we already have on our phones.
“Hey ChatGPT, do the thing I could have done in 3-4 clicks on my clock app.”
Not to mention the sheer wastefulness in terms of energy. A MINECRAFT REDSTONE MACHINE TIMER WOULD BE MORE EFFICIENT. (Not to mention that, unlike SOTA LLMs, it can run offline on a phone)
Spam is just corporate dick pics and should be just as illegal.

Plus the time it takes to look at it, as well as other effects on the people involved.
Especially when a sudden absence happens.
