I picked Subnautica back up because I wanted to try a randomizer mod. Thought it might add a fun twist to the game, but even though it made the start a little bit more difficult it really just made everything more tedious because I had to swim to shallow water to get early game materials. Basically all that’s randomized is my spawn location and the blueprint fragments are semi-randomized.
I only made progress after restarting twice because the first time my lifepod spawned way too far towards the edge and I was eaten by a ghost leviathan as soon as I left the lifepod. The second start I had a good spawn but I had randomize recipes on and did you know there are like a million different seeds in the game? That’s not really the experience I was looking for lol.

Yeah! Turns out sets with good designs are good and bad designs are bad, the same was true before they added outside IPs and the same will be true as long as they are printing cards.
Simultaneously, people are allowed to dislike sets with good designs and also to like sets with bad designs.
