Was a Honda mechanic for a very long time. The base level knowledge of how stuff just works always surprises me. 90s level and earlier cars you could fix alot on your own. 2003 and beyond though, cars are too damn complicated. For mechanics working on them, the labor rate never went up to match the complications with the new crap they put out.

6·9 months agoWhat if you prefer both ends of the scale? I’ll take as many monitors as HR will allow, but I will also kidnap a microsoft surface from the ewaste pile as it is so damn handy when you need to go to a location to fix things that dont have a spot to set a laptop.

3·9 months agoOk I just wana know your hardware setup. Not really the monitors but what you are doing for video output. Assuming either specialized cards with alot of dvi outputs(mini dvi?) or multiple gpus or even just dvi dasiychain?
Not sure if your serious but I’m a left handed bowler. You normally buy the bowling balls without holes, then have a shop measure your hand and how you throw and drill the holes to based on you.
My life right here. "Ok it looks like it is an issue with the sheet itself, do you know who owns it? Alright reach out to them.:

24·2 years agoStreisand Effect. I agree with your opinion, if they are hired and paid to preform at a venue, then that type of work should be free of personal message or bias.
If they had paid for use of the venue(basically a tour or show) then that would be a platform they are welcome to explain their message.
That being said, no idea why your are being down voted, you are having a friendly and respectful conversation here, and even I can see merits in your debate.

10·2 years agoWas super excited when I found out about this game. Did not play demo, didn’t read up on it so I could experience it spoiler free.
Saw it game out via steam wishlist email, went to buy it when I got home from work, and stopped when I saw the “Year One Pass”
Fuck this practice of “sell you the rest of the game later” bullshit
