Hi, I have a few games under my belt now, but by no means an expert. I am quite fond of the change_scene_to_packed method on the scene tree. It clears the current main scene and replaces it with your new scene while maintaining any singletons (autoloaded scenes). Feel free to look at how I did it for last years GMTK game jam: https://git.techiedamien.xyz/TechieDamien/Ouroboros/src/branch/master/Scripts/main_menu.gd
You can also clone it and edit it to see how it works. Feel free to ask me any questions about it.
Sure, the biggest implication is now we can look for symmetries in the universe and deduce a conservation law (with much difficulty by people way better at maths than me). This conservation law is not going to be broken by further refinements of our models, as it is inherent to the system. For example, you probably learnt about conservation of energy when learning Newtonian mechanics, but since this is a product of symmetry (in time iirc), then future refinements such as special or general relativity won’t break conservation of energy. The only way it could is if the symmetry is not fully accurate, like in quantum, where fluctuations in energy are possible, but very minor (providing phenomena such as the Casimir effect).
Most of the details are beyond me, and the maths certainly is, so please don’t take my interpretation of the literature as gospel!
Don’t forget Noether! She discovered one of the most fundamental theorems of the universe: (paraphrasing) there is a 1:1 relationship between a conservation law (eg momentum) and symmetry (eg spacetime). This has shaped a lot of modern physics and helped explain otherwise unexplainable phenomena!

Fails for when there is no TLD. Just send an email and validate a response eg from a link.
It is not on fdroid. Fdroid only allows foss apps and the futo keyboard is not Foss.

I’m the same vein, it is highly recommended to type literally everything: variables, arguments, return types, etc. This not only makes the autocomplete better, but also helps the editor identify bugs before you even run your game!
Wayland is gay?! I need to get off my ass and finally switch then!
I expect this post is going to really blow up

To be fair, sometimes it is right to take the code from the questions. Eg if you want behaviour x and the question is “how do I do y, my code is only doing x?” Then the code you want is from the question.
It’s actually 50% because it either kills you or is doesn’t. Those are the two options.
What is a factor of 1000 between friends anyway? (Especially cosmologist friends)
I think you missed a factor of 1000 when comparing against the speed of sound in air. I think it should be almost 1000 times the speed of sound, so definitely sonic boom and definitely vaporised!

The paper that this references is well worth a read as it goes into quite a bit more detail and highlights the difficulty they had with XRD, which there article glosses over. https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1149/1945-7111/ad88a8/pdf

Ah, I see this was the grand plan to make the UK vegan! Just make it so that we only have “high quality” meat that wouldn’t even meet our safety standards.

Yeah, I was built around slumber and coup de grace, so I feel your pain. I nearly died to the Minotaur too as I started using levelled spells just to make it go faster and then I was out when it attacked. Had Ember give him a run around while Lann killed him lol.

Loop hero has you trying to rebuild a forgotten world as you traverse round a simple loop…

Recently finished that game as an Azata and transcended. The story is great and the mythic paths are really quite fun, but I found combat to be a slog on the higher difficulties. Ended up turning it down to normal (from core) in act 4 due to the sheer amount of fights that take ages. The Defender’s Heart battle took me almost 2 hours! I get they want to make it feel grand, but it just slowed it down too much. For any new players, I recommend picking a lower difficulty, and use liberal use of real time for easy fights, of which there are far too many. You also need some resilience against bugs, as there are many. Only a few are game breaking, but most are really annoying and cause you to lose actions or items or something. Despite all this criticism, behind all that is a great game and I do recommend it to crpg fans, especially if they like pf1e (which I hadn’t played at the time).

I had a blurricade serpent form build. Only got to ~450 block on the final experiment boss because I passively killed it too fast. Only A2 mind you since I haven’t played much yet.
