I’m a therapist and I’m here to tell you that, by pathologizing political resistance, you are directly playing into the hands of fascists, and it’s disgusting and abhorrent behaviour. You should be ashamed of yourself. It’s clear that you’ve been deeply propagandized; it’s not your fault, but it is your responsibility to take a step back and reevaluate. Think about how you got here, and consider the consequences of your rhetoric. This is liberal rhetoric, and liberalism facilitates fascism. This community’s rule about no liberalism is valid and there for good reason, and we’re grateful to the mods for keeping this space clean of it.

Lol. Being genuine though, I don’t think of illegalism as a strategy, but more so a lifestyle that’s most congruent with my values, so I’d argue that it can’t really ‘fail’ in that sense.

I do think there’s some worthwhile theory behind it, and legitimate benefits outside of individual empowerment, but those aren’t what drive me
