Imma just put this here, totally unrelated thing
Also, in a totally unrelated note, y’all should check out this project, I find it really cool
Yeah, there’s totally not Mirrors around with the original source code that got pulled, and the entire internet having collectively archived it before Yuzu itself pulled the plug
Also it was the only Switch emulator in existence, there totally isn’t another emulator going around
Also you totally should not follow what I said here, y’know, emulation is wrong after all according to Nintendo

2·2 年前Even nowadays USB-C devices aren’t the de-facto yet(specially true in 3rd world countries like mine), Mini-B and Micro-C are still fairly common(tho really limited compared to USB-C), so depending on the devices being taken, it might not be that much of a trouble

7·2 年前USB 1.1 was already around in 1999, USB 2.0 being released in 2001 with Mini-A/AB/B being available in 2001, and the standard Type-A as early as 1996.
Take one of those USB Type-A to USB-C and you’re good enough until circa-2008 when USB-C starts to get around
Am I supposed to have Wifi driver issues? My laptop’s one always worked flawlessly without me having to even look at it

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Sore Losers of Lemmy: What Helped You Start to Lose with Grace?
1·3 年前Keep two things at mind:
- If you keep winning, victory will loose meaningless. Achieving a Victory is much more rewarding after a few defeats
- It’s a game, focus on having fun more than winning. You mentioned board games, if you see that you won’t really stand much of a chance of victory, why not try that weird strategy you saw online? My last chess match ended up in a complete laughing room after I tried the intercontinental ballistic queen I saw on youtube and somehow ended up loosing both my towers in the process
Also, take a defeat as a way to improve. If you lost, something made you loose, take it as a challenge to improve it

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•First time using Steam+Proton in Linux. HOLY SHIT!
1·3 年前I haven’t really tested StarRail, but Genshin has been working flawless for months. Went from brand new account to finishing Inazuma questline and now getting into Fontaine with 0 issues(aside from one time where DXVK messed me up, but that’s due to my graphics card being a ancient relic XP)
Also, tip, don’t enable the FPS Unlocker. It says it makes you get detected by the anti-cheat, but I never faced this, but it seems to lag the game out? Like, with it enabled, I can’t even get near Dragonspire

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•First time using Steam+Proton in Linux. HOLY SHIT!
2·3 年前Were you playing it by the time it launched? Back when Star Rail launched, it was quite tricky because they still were working on it, but nowadays it is going smooth and there haven’t had any ban reports in check logs 5 months

They might even better afford to have developers working full-time at the engines, or deal with stuff like infrastructure, licensing, hosting and other costs
Have you ever used it’s DevTools? Chrome DevTools feels outdated in comparison
I read it as ‘stitching’(as in sewing) and I was like ‘wtf? did it ripped apart?’
But it actually says ‘stichting’(with the ‘t’ before the ‘ing’).According to wikipedia: A stichting is a Dutch legal entity with limited liability, but no members or share capital, that exists for a specific purpose.
It makes a lot more sense than ‘stiching’ tbh
Nah, just mad cuz you lost the game

Then throw salt at it. If it is immortal, might as well make it miserable
