Questions is how high is the chance finding a share in 8 hours in a very strong pool like nanopool or supportxmr. Right now i am Mining at p2pool mini sidechain with approx 10kH/s. Till today i was lucky and received an payout every single day i mined.

Yep Software is okay, but things stating that North Korea is not an oppressive regime etc. is problematic.

I got 4x 400W Panels and an Hoymiles HM-1500 Micro Grid converter. Because the alignment of the panels is not ideal ich can roughly generate approx. 8 kWh on a sunny day in the summer. Washingmachine etc. do not eat that all up so i use the rest to mine.

Crypto Currencies only make sense for me when the can be run mainly by green energy, everyone can participate without special hardware and if privacy is guranteed . Thats why i think Bitcoin sucks. Mainly the Bitcoin farms using places where energy is cheap and dirty, you need expensive hardware to mine it yourself and it is not private at all.

I have found an efficient Fujitsu MoBo and a PicoPSU on the attic and now i am organising a cheap i5-6500T. Should be good for approx. 1300H/s at 30W. As an always on “placeholder” minig to the pool while the sun does not shine.

I have a Intel NUC 7PJYH here which is running 24/7 for the smart home etc. maybe i will first of try if it can handle Smarthome/TVHEad/ and Monerod + P2Pool. While syncing now the CPU usage is quite high
