It wasn’t always this weird but C spent too much time hanging out with E and I and they started to influence C. “Ke” and “ki” became “kye” and “kyi” and eventually “che” and “chi” then in some places it turned to “she” and “shi” then “se” and “si”. Now we even have “the” and “thi” in some Spanish dialects.

The part that worries me about America dying is that it’s going to lash out at the rest of the world and take everyone down with it.

2·6 months agoI wish they taught math in a more proof oriented way. The most fun I had in a math class was geometric proofs like “show these 2 angles are equivalent without measuring”. To me real math is about making the algorithms and not just memorizing how to compute them.
How many British thermal units does it take to heat up a slug of water 1 degree Celsius?
I put stuff on top of my shoes but I’m gonna try this for stuff that needs to stay cold
