I really like /e/os and have been running them for almost 2 years now. But recently they are having infrastructure issues and I may be moving on from the project. Sucks since i am a paying customer (online ecosystem) of them

2·1 year agoBy far my all-time favorite app - Freetube. Used to be KDE Connect for transferring files between devices, and still is an useful app. But man Freetube is amazing

I liked and used Deezer until they rebranded. I can’t get over the new look. Switched over to Tidal
Typing this up on /e/os on OnePlus6t. Love it for ~2 years now. Signed up and support the project now with their ecosystem (64gb option).

1·1 year agoInteresting. Just tested this on the publicly o one I use and typed in “President Biden, White house”. Sure enough it produced pictures of him standing within the White House but none of them had his face being displaying correctly. Either messed up, blurred out or just looked horrifying.

Not a true alternative, but I love Freetube. Just for the fact that I don’t have to have an account tied to it with no ads and sponsor ads is nice.
Lately there’s been connection issues but usually gets resolved with 2-3 days.
Even works on my raspberry pi.

3·1 year agoIts going be very hard to move away from my One plus 6T. Has been the best phone for trying out custom Roms, currently running /e/os on it. Just make sure you get an unlocked version
Interesting!
Was that before or after going to the bank, laughing?
Been using /e/os on my OnePlus 6t for nearly 2 years now. I like it for the most part, with its built-in ad blocker, and online ecosystem that syncs to my devices. Recent outage that they are still going through, has alittle worrisome but nothing being a big deal
