Have they considered actually making the content available to stream legitimately on platforms that aren’t dogsh*t? Japan does this with everything. Music is still mostly physical and streaming support especially for older catalogues is poor. Godzilla minus one was out of theatres for a full year before anything resembling a physical release was made available. The biggest thing hurting growth here is gatekeeping.

Based on tbe upvote count lemmy seems to agree XD. I like her too, I don’t think she’s done much to stand out but she seems to understand what the younger generation wants (see pride march pics). I’m hoping to see what her policies would be if she ever decided to run for PM.

I mean guardians of the galaxy is a very open concept. It’s basically cowboys in space. You can build onto that pretty easily in the direction you wanna go. None of apideys villains really have that kinda open background you can build on top of. And if you tried more likely than not you’d just make something unrecognisable. Like mysterio for example could probably pass in a real mystical environment where he relies on fake illusions but the end result would probs just be wizard of Oz :/.

I think the penguin is really shaped by the characters and the mob context. Spideys rogues gallery doesn’t have anything as gripping when spideys removed. Most of the characters also basically revolve around spider man so a story without him needs to find a way to fill the vacuum. Doc ock or lizard would basically just be boring science shows, goblin would be corporate action, or kraven would be nature doc. All of these are pretty boring.

A vulture prequel honestly could’ve worked. Maybe even just adapting the tinkerer style plot line with the vulture taking out a rival dealer whose much worse than him. Trouble with a parallel world vulture is that hiz dynamic with pete is basically the most interesting part of the character after homecoming and this would remove that.
