I have a crochet toast holding a sign saying “cook the toast, butter the toast, eat the toast, shit the toast. God, life is relentless.”
Same energy lol

I am one of the OG hydro homies and it legit changed my life drinking more water. Skin cleared up (acne wasn’t terrible, but there was almost always some blemish), lost weight (less soda, less hunger in general), reduced stomach issues (helped with getting regular and not binging, just better general gut feeling), no more UTI’s.
I also get to pee like 4 times throughout the day at work which just helps break up the day.
I was very fucking upset my government didn’t step in when Russia annexed Crimea, Ukraine disarmed with the agreement we’d fight Russia with them and we just wrote a letter. Not all of us are asleep, but our media is owned by demons.

I honestly believe the education system is more to blame than anything besides the anti vax people themselves. There’s so much nonsense pseudoscience posted online by uninformed and grifters, then their cult of stupidity fills the holes with comments that reinforce the legitimacy of their quackery. Even reasonable people get sucked down the rabbit hole.
When my son was born my wife had been fed this bullshit and suggested delaying vaccination. I sat her down and was able to address her concerns and get her to understand the science and statistics so he stayed in the doctor’s recommended schedule but not everybody is going to have a spouse who cash reel then back in.
It’s such a good game!
There’s already more amazing games than you or I could possibly play in a lifetime. If they only make shitty games, I’ll just play old games. I’ve been gaming on a retro handheld and honestly there’s so many amazing games I missed.
Indy devs are also killing it in the multiplayer space with silly and charming co-op experiences. I played a lot of Peak and Motor Town with friends lately and both are just so fun.
There’s nothing difficult or complicated about it. Do you support America and it’s citizens or fucking fascists?
Ultimately if you’re part of the group pushing for the latter, I hope you get all the misery you put others through.

I’ve got a 4 year old, screens are like crack to them. If we don’t watch any TV or YouTube all week he tends to forget about it, but watch one ten minute video and there’s meltdowns for the next several days because he wants to watch constantly. Adults can’t keep their phones out of their hands, and we all know social media is poison.
I can’t imagine how neglectful a parent must be to give a 5 year old unrestricted Internet access.
That said, what Ragnarok server are you running or playing on? Been a good few years since I scratched that itch lol.
Yup, it’s even what they use in their displays because they sparkle more than a diamond.

I’m making a statement about companies in general. People are just so willing to bend over and take it. In my mind people used to have more gumption, but I’m probably overestimating how much was individuals vs how the media portrayed things.
Feels like if Upton Sinclair released “the jungle” today we’d all collectively say “oh well, guess we’re eating rats and formaldehyde.”

So many people don’t understand this at all. China is still the same as when the tanks were rolling over college students.

There’s more and more people who feel just like you do. I’m so exhausted of all these companies being predatory and anti consumer. I’m the type to stand my ground and abstain or find alternatives, but it feels like there’s 5 people who don’t care and 4 people who will just let it go for every person willing to boycott bullshit.
This guy beefs like I beef, meaning it’s the correct beef!
It wasn’t a bad movie, the characters were just incredibly forgettable. Rogue One was a good standalone movie, but it was kinda bittersweet because they stole part of Kyle Katarn’s backstory and he was always one of my favorite characters.
Yup. Was a huge fan of the EU books and lore. Wanted to give Disney a chance, so I saw the first few movies. It was like seeing your ex at the club but she’d gone through massive amounts of plastic surgery and they’d removed all the unique features that attracted you originally. Haven’t watched anything Star Wars since the second movie in the new trilogy, literally 0 desire to see the conclusion or any new Star wars content.
I set low initial expectations at my job, automated and simplified nearly every task. I work less than 20 hours a week on average. I have time for basically all my hobbies and get to spend tons of time with my kid and wife. It may be a grey cubicle and annoying but it pays well and i can get fulfillment elsewhere. Feel like anybody trying to get fulfilling experiences from work is looking at the picture upside down

Almost all the new hires at work save shit to one drive and teams and it’s incredibly annoying to locate anything. Just save it to the dang shared drive.
With the tools available now, a smaller team can make projects that compete with much larger studios, mostly because they don’t have a hand tied behind their backs from having to paywall or monetize things. Currently playing Motortown: Behind the wheel, it’s literally a single dev making it and it’s just an all around great experience. He implements what he and the players want without extra fluff or cash grabs and players are spreading the word around about our love for this game so he doesn’t need marketing.
I don’t think big budget AAA games will change much going forward, the businessmen always think they know best and they’ll continue to make games worse if they believe it’ll increase profit. An indie game will just never produce fortnight or GTA money, so they’ll continue to want games that can replicate that model.
It’s the same in every industry. Rich shit bags move in and buy successful entities but have no idea how to run them. They slowly get shittier, so good employees move on and do their own thing.
There’s still amazing games being made, there’s just a lot more shit games you have to sift though. Follow great game devs, not who they work for.
But the investors want to hear you’re making investments that pay out within a year. A decade to see a return means they’ve got no interest.
