I don’t see any reason pepper spray should be banned. Even if the police are on top of things, they cant be everywhere. Pepper spray sucks but it doesn’t cause any damage, if used outside. Not useful in the tube. Tasers can cause burns, and can be dangerous to people with certain medical conditions.

But the met uses both of those on civilians. As a woman the only option is a rape alarm and hope a friendly stranger is close enough to hear and respond. Or a 3in non locking pocket knife. Which is not great for defense.

Maybe allow women to carry something for self defense other than a rape whistle? Just a thought

Once you find the thing you want, look up the company and buy from them. Most places have free shipping for things over a certain amount. I’m in the USA so I’m no sure if this would be the same for you. But, you can use a search engine to find it at a more local store.

Kindle is still my favorite eReader but I don’t buy them from Amazon. Calibre is a good program that can change file types of ebooks. If you buy an ebook from anywhere else, you can convert the file to epub. Then you can email the file to your kindle library. It will add it and keep all functionality as if you bought it on kindle.

Birds have very delicate air sacs. For small birds like that constricting them can seriously damage them and cause issues breathing.

I would be interested in any articles you have about the biological changes I was talking about. I would love to read anything you have. I’m going off of general classes I took in college. Like developmental, human, and cell biology. Nothing was specific on transitioning, just the general sexual dimorphism in humans.

I’m not a fan of the tone they are using to discuss this. There is a difference from transitioning before puberty vs after. There are specific biological differences that a mtf woman will have that hormones won’t change. There is an issue that needs to be resolved with sports. I don’t know what the solution is, but shutting down conversation doesn’t seem like it. Shutting down transphobia, yes absolutely. I hope I’m not coming off poorly.

Even though she was actually a victim, and they lied to her about the direction the show was going in. Even though her life story seems to be amazing.
