The hype train for hl3 is so off the rails that valve can’t release it. It would never live up to the hype, so it’s a pretty sound decision not to make it.

As a big fan of the genre I’m sad to say that there’s not much else that looks like it.

Darfall is decent but lacks depth and variety. Having a hero Is nice, but the item drops can make or break your run.

I’ve yet to play age of darkness: final stand. But from what I gather there is not alot of variety in the endgame that can lead to a lot of wasted time if you’re not doing the 1 thing that works 100% of the time.

I was thinking the same, but then again taking a long time to put games out isn’t the same as putting out broken games. I mean rdr, rdr2, and gtav are stellar games that launched without any glaring faults iirc. Taking time is fine as long as we get a complete product.
