Since when can we sleep during fevers, all I get is a splitting headache with breaks of nightmares and tossing and turning.

3·22 days agoOffices? So now you need to carry all your passwords in a notepad along with your laptop, regardless even if it is a desktop, what about malicious friends, househelp, party, relatives, guests etc. Yes it is unlikely but doesn’t change the lack of security, physical passwords are definitely good if properly kept in a secure place but not ideal for the average scenario of storing all your passwords and more vulnerable to human error.

5·22 days agoFun Fact: Keepass is a 100% offline and FLOSS password manager so you are right in that, it’s just a bit more incovenient due to no cloud syncing, whereas a sticky note is terrible security due to being vulnerable to petty theft.

He’s right though, consumer goods like car engines have less and less resources poured into longevity and ease of repair since forcing new part purchases or manufacturer repairs is quite profitable.

1·3 months agoEh not really, in India you can get a 2nd hand Pixel “a” model a couple years old and have it last for nearly a decade with official support and GrapheneOS extended support, not bad value for money but certainly a bit more expensive than the most budget phones.

12·4 months ago3rd world prole and I can somewhat relate regardless of borders.
I’ve seen crazy wealth too with my IRL friend, mansions, swimming pools, perfume collections, too many cars I don’t know, factories etc.
I feel plenty of jealousy as well but it also reminds me of the sheer privilege and power people around the world have from birth and how they got it, and honestly also makes me want to selfishly chase such wealth in return.
Pretending these people work harder to get their wealth is the capitalist lie and thus leads to us to despising them, honestly what can we really do about it than to funnel that into something productive and something that will mean something to you or society as a whole?
sorry if that wasn’t too helpful my brain can’t find the words.
Hah too bad I’m using GNU Hurd
