Laughs in Fortnite?

I moved from Nova back when it changed hands. I went back and forth between a few different launchers (all open source) and landed on lawnchair. It ticks most of the boxes that Nova provided for me.
I looked at Neo-Launcher which is promising, but while active, development is quite slow (they may have a full release now, but has (had) been beta for a long time).

How are you defining “the ecosystem” in this context?
F-droid is not “glossy commercial”, but in general that’s why it’s great.
I agree it’s clunky, and could use a facelift, and a good UI redesign. I would never call it trash though. It’s far better than Play or App Store in terms of protecting the user.

There’s not much choice. So much investment is being poured into AI that companies have to join the bandwagon to “compete”.
I hope some of these companies are prepared for a potential burst of the bubble.

There are already Linux phones. The challenge is to develop enough excitement around a concept that attracts developers and users.
The carriers will follow.

Is florisboard’s (also on fdroid) gesture typing open? It’s not great, but it works…somewhat.

Are you part of the development team?
Anyway, if it’s going to be “open”, it should include a local AI far more prominently than corporate ones.
Access to open libraries like the Gutenberg project as well.
It looks nice. Maybe consider closing off the source and selling as a proprietary project?

Are you talking about the situation in Catalan?
The way I’m reading it is more like: “many criminals are using graphene” rather than “graphene users are criminals”.
It’s a small step from one to the other, I’ll admit.
This looks like a similar but different problem. https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/dual-monitors-blank-screen-on-one-when-using-displayport-error-clock-recovery-failed-4175744481-print/
It seems most likely a GPU driver issue. I run Ubuntu on servers mostly, and have never used a Radeon card.
Good luck!

Thanks! Downloading now.

This is great! Thank you!

A fan of you and your fashion sense!
The biggest roadblock will be whether the bootloader will allow another OS. You should be able to search xda forums for your device as a start.
Linux can be installed on ARM, no problem.

I was hoping for a story.

As others have mentioned, perhaps while the metaphor is weak, your spirit is strong!
My kid’s Chromebooks (I purchased for them before the school provided) reached EOL before they finished elementary school.
I installed Linux (Gentoo) so we could continue using them. When power is correctly configured, they were very cool to use as a quick tool to search for something, answer an email, write a quick document and other simple tasks. They did not work well as workstations as an old Thinkpad might.
Since they are so light, and the battery lasted forever, we would leave them on a counter, and pick them up as needed.
Mine is a front end for hosted services. Nextcloud, jitsi, and the like.

Thanks! While flatpaks are not the Gentoo way, I’ll give it a try.

LLM speech-to-text.
It appears continuous speech recognition is possible, but I only got as far as recognition of an audio file.
Still very cool!
Google goes to step 4 and 5, then creates “the next hot thing”.
