Okay, so obviously there’s the diagonal checkerboard behind him, separated by a parallel checkerboard to his left… but am I crazy or is the checkerboard further behind him diagonal but also has bigger squares?
I was going to make a joke about one of the world’s richest families not being able to get the pattern to line up across the wood barrier, but looking closer I don’t think it can line up because they’re different tiles…?
The back rows look to be 1.5 times the length of the front rows. Looking at the column next to his hand, they’re lined up with black in the front and white in the back. The next white column in the back to our left is lined up with white in the front, so for every 2 back columns there are 3 front columns
